La mascarilla capilar: el error más común en el cuidado del cabello.

Hair masks: the most common mistake in hair care.

Most people wear masks.

But very few really know how to use it.

And not because they don't want to learn,

But because nobody explained it to them properly.

The mask is supposed to repair, hydrate, and improve hair.

But often the result is the opposite:

Heavy, lifeless, oily, or even itchy hair.

Then the doubt arises:

Does the mask work... or am I using it wrong?

The answer is usually the second one.

The problem isn't the mask, it's how it's used.

For years we were told:

- “Wear a mask once a week”

- “Let it work for a few minutes”

- “rinse well”

But they never explained to us:

- where to apply it

- how much to use

- what type does our hair need

- nor what impression it should leave

And that's where the mistake begins.

An improperly used hair mask can saturate the hair.

Even though it's a good product.

Not all masks are the same (or for everyone)

There are masks that:

- nourish

- hydrate

- soften

- strengthen

But hair doesn't need everything at the same time.

Using a face mask without understanding its function

It's like giving your hair something it didn't ask for.

That's why sometimes:

- the hair feels heavy

- loses volume

- it looks opaque

- or the scalp reacts

It's not that the mask is "bad".

The hair just wasn't ready for that.

Where and how it is applied changes everything.

One of the biggest misconceptions is this:

Does the hair mask go on all of the hair?

The short answer: **not always**.

Hair does not behave the same at the roots as at the ends.

Applying a face mask unintentionally can throw everything off balance.

The quantity, the area, and the time

They matter more than you think.

Texture, feel and result: the signs no one explained to you

A good face mask doesn't just work.

**You can feel it**.

- The texture shouldn't stay on top

- The hair should feel flexible, not heavy.

- When rinsing, it shouldn't feel rough or greasy.

These sensations are signals.

And learning to read them completely changes hair care.

 This is just the beginning

Face masks are an important part of the ritual,

But they don't work on their own.

Nor in the same way for everyone.

Understanding them is the first step.

Choosing them well is the next step.

Using them intentionally is what makes the difference.

In our Hair Guide,

We will break down each step of hair care.

So that it stops being confusing

And it starts to make sense.

Little by little.

Without saturating.

Intentionally.
